I’m one of those people who always wears sunglasses outside, except at night. I wear them when it rains, I wear them at dawn and at dusk most of the time, and sometimes, when I am driving with a migraine and the street lights glare, I wear them at night, too. Polarized sunglasses. And frankly, the whole, “You look young for your age” probably has to do with the fact that I am not squinting all the time.
But sometimes I walk to and from the car without them, and my house is in the shade. Today, even that was painful.
For the first time in I don’t know how long, THE SUN WAS OUT IN THE SUNSHINE STATE! Call the media, I think something just broke.
I’m trying to remember if it has been this sunny since my kids left for New York at the end of June. I’m thinking not. Funny, they come home today.
But not to worry, it’s starting to cloud over again.
