I’m going to combine these into one post.
Day 6 of the Daydreamer Challenge was to answer some questions from other participants.
Here is Day 6:
It’s Day 6 of the Daydreamer Challenge! Honestly, it’s gone sooo fast! ().
Yesterday, I asked you guys to write a question at the end of the post. This is because I wanted to write down every question and you can just answer them! Easy peasy! Also, check out the blogs that gave the questions because they’re awesome! 🙂
My Question – Can you believe it is coming to the end of the daydreamer challenge? The week has flown by!
Just Call Me Elm Or Something – If you had the chance to meet one of your best internet friends/favourite blogger, would you be nervous before meeting them? That may depend on whether it was a best internet friend, or a favorite blogger who was very famous. While I realize famous people still put their pants on one leg at a time, there are some people who are wonderfully creative, and whom I admire to the point of feeling slightly intimidated.
Bubbakavangha – How do you describe your mind? It’s a work in progress…
But I Smile Anyway– Would you like one of your posts to go viral? There are a few that I wouldn’t mind going viral. The one on Mental Illness is close to home for many, and I also think the post about body shaming is something anyone who has ever felt “less than” should read. I wouldn’t mind having some of the posts in which I try to be humorous go viral, either, such as the one about the woman in Florida who murdered and tried to broil her neighbor to dispose of the body.
Silver Sparkling Stories – What’s your biggest fear? That changes with the events of my life. I think losing one of my children has been my biggest fear since I’ve become a mother, because it is just so unthinkable.
A Random Person Called Annie – How did you feel after you posted your first ever post? It wasn’t on this blog… I felt a little nervous. And I wasn’t as authentic as I’d like to believe I am now… I think I tended more to try to censor myself to avoid disapproval from the people in my life.
One Sip At A Time – What’s your favourite phone app? Ooh. I like the WordPress app. The flashlight app is pretty nifty. And the alarm clock, because I’d never wake up on my own, and I can actually set alternating weeks to match my f-ed up schedule.
K.E Wilson – Where do you draw your inspiration? From life. From what I experience first hand, and from what I see around me, and from what I read.
Lrod’s Blog – Would you rather have your blog go viral or keep t as it is (small audience)? Go big or go home… 😉 I’m not sure how well I would deal with fame, but I sure as hell wouldn’t mind it being big enough that I could make money doing it as my day job… So I would probably have to say “Go viral.” But there is something to be said for more intimacy of a smaller audience.
Gess Pressing Words – What is the most awkward situation you’ve ever been in? My marriage. Thank God for divorce…
Rogue Vogue – If you were to re-write the dictionary for the year 2030, what one word would you like to change the description of, and why? I would like the words people use to try to hurt one another to mean what they meant before they became insults. Most of our “curse words” began as something entirely different.
Annemarie & Life – What is your favourite part of the day? (could be a time or an activity etc.) Twilight.
Edwina’s Episodes – Have you ever taken down a post because it offended someone? Not on the blog, but I have on Facebook.
I think out of all the Daydreamer Challenges, I enjoyed the first one the most, because it gave me the opportunity to share some photos I’d taken of the beach over the years.
I’ve really enjoyed the challenge overall. Thank you, Teen Daydreamer, for coming up with this challenge, and all of the hard work you’ve put into bringing together members of the WordPress Community. You’re awesome!
